Christopher Nolan is set to return to movie theaters in 2023 with the release of “Oppenheimer,” based on the life of theoretical physicist & “the father of the Atomic bomb” J. Robert Oppenheimer.

Nolan has never made a biographical drama before, but don’t expect the Oscar-nominated director to take the traditional biopic route.

What Is Oppenheimer About?

J. Robert Oppenheimer was a scientist known for his work on the Manhattan Project, which developed the atomic bomb, and later served as chairman of the United States Atomic Energy Commission

He was accused of being a communist in 1954 and was relieved of his government duties, but continued working as a physicist and teacher.

Oppenheimer was nominated for the Nobel Prize in physics three times between 1946 and 1967, but did not win before his death in 1967.

Is There a Trailer for Oppenheimer?

A one-minute teaser trailer was released exclusively in theaters ahead of Jordan Peele's Nope. The trailer was then released online a week later on July 28, 2022.

When Is Oppenheimer Set to Be Released?

Oppenheimer will be exclusively in theaters, and it’ll be available in the standard digital cinema projection on 23rd July, 2023.
